Everyone loves kale, especially me. I seem to be going through a kale obsession phase at the moment and I’m finding myself using it in everything that I make. This is one of the yummiest, healthiest and easiest snacks to make, and great to have on the coffee table for when guests come over.
HOW TO MAKE KALE CHIPS
You will need
- 1 bunch of kale or 2 bags of washed and cut kale
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300.
- Take the kale, wash and dry well - if you are using a bunch of kale cut it off the stem.
- Make sure that the kale is dry before spreading it out onto a baking sheet covered with greaseproof paper. Drizzle a little olive oil, only enough to lightly coat the kale and then rub it into each leaf. Sprinkle some sea salt on top.
- Put the baking sheet into the oven for 25 minutes and viola, you've got yourself some kale chips!

YUM!!
Cant wait to try it. Brilliant idea. Love every recipe on here and it all looks unreal!
Always wanted to make this and never knew how..can’t wait to try this recipe!
why the greaseproof paper? i never made it that way and am wondering what it does…
Good question! Kale can sometimes be a little difficult to dry – the greaseproof paper helps to absorb the water instead of the kale absorbing it. If the kale is too wet it can steam instead of roast.
