HOW TO GET THAT CRISPY FRIED EFFECT THE HEALTHY WAY

For a lot of us fried food is a guilty pleasure, in my house our guilty pleasure has to be good old fried chicken but let me fill you in on a little secret. The fried dishes don’t really need to be fried! Instead dredge your meat, fish or vegetables in egg and flour or breadcrumbs and then coat with canola or olive oil cooking spray. These are the healthiest oils that you can use.

Place on a baking sheet and bake at 425 to 450 until golden and crispy. You’ll find that there is 40% fewer calories when cooking with this method
